LAYERED CRAB SPREAD


                                                                                   
                                                                                    
This layered Crab spread is a little spicier then other spread.  This is a great make-ahead dish to serve to a gathering.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat, drained and flaked


DIRECTION
  • In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and onion. Stir in the parsley.
  • Spread the mixture evenly on a large serving platter. 
  • Layer with desired amount of chili sauce. Top with crab meat.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least two hours before serving.
