SPICY LAMB CHOPS




INGREDIENTS
  • 8 pieces lamb chops cleansed
  • 5 onion medium sized finely sliced
  • 9 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece ginger (3 inches)
  • 2 tomato medium size sliced
  • 2-3 slit green chilies
  • 3 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper/Chili powder (increase to 2 for more spicy)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ¼ teaspoon fennel seeds powder
  • ½ teaspoon all spices powder
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil 
  • 5 Peppercorns
  • 3 pieces cinnamon stick- of 1 inch each
  • 4 Clove
  • 2 Green cardamom
  • 8 Fenugreek seeds
  • Salt to taste


DIRECTION
  • Mix all the ingredients except tomato in the cooking pot and marinate meat well in the mixture.
  • Now place the tomato slices over the mixture.
  • Close lid and place on high flame for 2min.
  • Then reduce the flame to minimum and let it cook till lamb is tender and fully cooked and gravy is well mixed.
  • Once in a while open and stir.
