BALSAMIC GLAZED CARROTS

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 bunches baby carrots
  • 100g (1/2 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 30g butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

 

DIRECTION

  • Trim the stems of the carrots peel and scrub the dirt, if any, from it.
  • Preheat the oven at 180°C.
  • Place the carrots in the 12 cup large glass or ceramic heat proof baking disk.
  • Take a small bowl and mix sugar, vinegar and butter in it.
  • Pour the mixture over the carrots.
  • Season the carrots with salt and black pepper and mix well.
  • Bake them in the oven and stir occasionally and bake them until they are tender or for 45 minutes.
  • Set a serving platter and drizzle over the glaze for serving.
