INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon whole spices powder
- 1/2 cup water
- few leaves of cilantro and/or mint
- oil for deep frying
- salt, to taste
DIRECTION
- Mix everything well, except water and oil.
- Slowly add water until you have thick paste.
- Heat oil for deep frying on medium-low.
- Carefully, dip batter in oil with tablespoon one by one.
- Turn and cook at both sides until golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney.
