DEEP FRIED VEGETABLE FRITTERS




INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon whole spices powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • few leaves of cilantro and/or mint
  • oil for deep frying
  • salt, to taste


DIRECTION
  • Mix everything well, except water and oil.
  • Slowly add water until you have thick paste.
  • Heat oil for deep frying on medium-low.
  • Carefully, dip batter in oil with tablespoon one by one.
  • Turn and cook at both sides until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with chutney.
