CHICKEN SATAY SKEWERS WITH PEANUT SAUCE


                                                                                       


INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb (454 g) boneless chicken breasts, skinned
SAUCE
  • 3 tablespoon (45 ml) peanut butter, creamy
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) honey
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) water
  • A little Tabasco Sauce
MARINADE
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) curry powder
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar

 
DIRECTION
  • Pat chicken dry and cut into strips about 1 x 4 inches (10 cm long).
  • Mix ingredients for marinade.
  • Marinate chicken in this mixture for 1 hour in refrigerator.
  • Combine sauce ingredients in a food processor.
  • If the sauce loosens, add 1 teaspoon. table to boiling water.
  • Thread chicken onto skewers.
  • The grill on the barbecue or indoor grill to a medium-high heat until chicken is overdone.
  • Serve skewers topped with a thin stream of peanut sauce or serve sauce on the side.
